Below is the Membership and Wait listing Process For The Grants Pass Home School Co-op
The Board will review all membership applications.
Priority will be given in this order:
Board members,
Teachers (teaching classes this term),
Support Team Members,
Returning Families,
Families with older children,
Families with younger children.
Waitlisted
All families that submit a membership application have the option of being waitlisted. This can happen at any time during the year for each term. If membership is denied due to the Co-op reaching capacity (limited by church space and insurance), that family may be put on the waitlist. If this occurs, their membership application will be kept on file for one school year. They will be contacted if a spot opens up that would accommodate their family.
The following factors will be considered in ordering the waitlist: the date the application was received, the age of the children in the family (families with older children are given priority over those with younger children because younger children will have more opportunities to participate in the future as opposed to a high school student, for example), number of children in the family, and any special needs that have been identified.
